“I was an ugly duckling as a kid” Eva Mendes

She is one of the sexiest actresses in Hollywood, but Eva Mendes insists that she was an ugly duckling as a kid.

But that was because she had buck teeth and as she was very thin, they really stood out, says she “I was only like 70 pounds, so my teeth really stood out.” She reveals that her nickname was ‘Bugsy’, named after her buck teeth like Bugs Bunny’s.

Though she still has buck teeth, Eva believes that putting on weight since childhood made them less noticeable. She also added that the reason why she never got braces was because she is ok with her imperfections.

“I never got braces because I am OK with my imperfections. In fact, I like to accentuate my buck teeth when I smile. I just have a big old smile. I never cover my mouth,” she said.
