Eva Mendes’s first-ever steamy scene

We have seen Eva Mendes in all types of revealing dresses including tiny bikinis, flaunting her skin quite confidently. But when it came to baring it all, she developed cold feet.

She had a steamy scene in ‘We Own the Night’ with Joaquin Phoenix, her first intimate scene ever. She wasn’t comfortable at all, says she “I’m very professional and I don’t usually drink on the job but that morning I had a little vodka and orange juice and then I was fine.”

She said that both director, James Gray and Phoenix were really sweet and she felt really comfortable with them. She describes Phoenix as one of the greatest actors of her generation.
