Eva Mendes at CFDA Awards

The CFDA Awards was held in New York, celebrating its 25th anniversary. The awards are given each year as recognition of those responsible for the greatest contribution to American fashion.

Eva Mendes walked the red carpet with Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa, wearing a hot pink gown with a ruffled thigh-high slit.

Eva, is one of the hottest actress around, she is seven in the 2007 issue of Maxim’s hot 100, and she replaced Cindy Crawford as the spokes model for Revlon.

The most prestigious, Womenswear designer of the year award was shared by three people— Oscar de la Renta, and Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.

Others in the guest list included Calvin Klein, Debra Messing, Donna Karan, Ralph and Ricky Lauren, models Petra Nemcova and Heidi Klum, Oprah Winfrey, David Bowie and Iman, Michael Kors and Claire Danes.
